Our Research & Development department creates solutions that go far beyond the status quo – always with an eye to sustainability, efficiency and future-proofing. The best example: Comprex®. Our patented cleaning process uses targeted air-water impulses to clean pipe systems without chemicals – precise, resource-saving and trend-setting for entire industries.
But we are not resting on our laurels. Our technology is constantly being developed further – through new applications, partnerships and research projects. This results in innovations that were hardly conceivable before.

Research & development and plant engineering
In our new technical center at our headquarters in Albert-Einstein-Straße in Landau, we work daily on the further development of our Comprex® technology. This is where hardware and software merge to form a unique unit – precisely tailored to the requirements of our applications.
The technical center includes workshop areas for the construction of new prototypes as well as several test rooms for test setups and trials. Our demo facility will also soon be moving to this location – it will not only expand the possibilities for research, development and practical tests, but will also serve to clearly demonstrate our process to customers, interested parties and partners.
Another building in Landau continues to be an important part of our infrastructure: this is where the vehicle construction and workshop for the maintenance, repair and servicing of our Comprex® vehicles and trailers are located today.
This is how we ensure that our mobile units remain technically up to date and ready for use at all times – from planning to regular inspections by our own mechanics and service teams.
With modern interfaces, intuitive operating concepts and portability to any end device, Comprex Automation GmbH offers its vision of modern machine control to a wide range of customers. Since the spin-off in 2019, the company has bundled the IT expertise of Comprex® and is constantly expanding it within the new framework.
Today’s research is the basis for tomorrow’s solutions. Together with universities, institutes and partner companies, we are constantly developing new approaches to make our processes even more efficient and sustainable. 
Many of our projects are recognized and supported by official funding bodies due to their level of innovation – for example in the fields of medical technology, process control and sustainable cleaning technologies.

Rules and regulations
As experts in the cleaning of drinking water installations, we adhere strictly to the requirements of the German Drinking Water Ordinance and the specifications of the German Technical and Scientific Association for Gas and Water.
